Didirikan pada tanggal 17 Oktober 1957 di Banjarmasin, oleh Bpk. Hen Menaro. Dimulai dengan mengoperasikan 1 kapal “KM. Paliat” dengan muatan bahan-bahan makanan, utamanya beras, untuk rute SUB-BDJ. Sekarang diabadikan menjadi Villa Paliat di daerah Tretes Jawa Timur. Meratus menjadi perusahaan pertama di Indonesia untuk pemberian pelayanan dengan container.

Requirements
- With maximum 28 years
- Diploma or Bachelor degree from any major (from maritime or management transportation institute will be advantage)
- Fresh graduate are welcome
- Have knowledge about shipping documentation such as B/L, etc.
- Proficient verbal and written English
- Computer Literate
- Can work under pressure and overtime with minimal supervision
- Willing to Work Hard, Good Team Work, Ability to Work Under Pressure
- To be located in Kupang, Nusa Tenggara Timur
